Disappeared tool panel and all palettes

My InDesign workspace has lost the tool panel and all palettes. Checking same in window menu gets no response. Can anyone help?

      Start by pressing the Tab key (with any tool selected except for the Type tool with an active insertion point, the Tab key is a toggle to hide/show the panels).

      If that doesn't work, Window > Workspace > Reset XXX (where XXX= your favorite workspace).

        Hi,

        Are you on Mac or Win?

        If you are on Mac, is the application frame on?(window-> application frame)

        And if the suggestion by Barb above does not work( most likely it will) then try cleaning your InDesign caches.  Troubleshooting 101: Replace, or "trash" your InDesign preferences
