Diseño de catalogo de 1000 productos

Buenas tardes! Necesito un paso a paso para saber si es posible diseñar un catalogo de 1000 productos, que pueda ser modular y facil de cargar el contenido a través de un archivo excel. Va a tener entre 6 y 9 columnas con nfo de cada producto y a su vez, van a ser casi 1000 productos. Por lo tanto, necesito saber si es posible desarrollar este catalogo de un modo SEGURO y SIMPLE. Seran por lo menos 100 paginas y hasta ahora, todo lo que probemoos es muy engorroso. Necesito que sea modular, es decir, que entren 9 productos por pagina y a su vez, que cada uno tenga las columnas con la info del detallle, color, medida, precio, etc. Necesito saber tamnbien de que manera poder actualizar el contenido de la columna Precio, ya que va a ser una variable que van a actualizar mes a mes. 
Dejo una captura a modo de ejemplo de un diseño solo a modo de referencia de lo que estoy necesitando hacer y cargar a traves de un excel.

1) It is possible.

2) It is safe as your file protection measures, and can be done in-house.

3) It is (relatively) simple to do, after you've set up systems to get the content, place it into useful templates which will help you automate the process, and have proven ways to output from InDesign the end products your organization needs. 

 

It's developing the correct process to create, produce, refine, proof, distribute and update your 1000 product catalog that will drive you mad. That will take training, talent, work and constant focus on improving every part of the process until you get it to the point where it runs smoothly. If it ever does. And a considerable amount of time, effort and money to get your organization where you want it to be.

 

Will InDesign do this automatically for you? No. But can it do it, with the effort of talented operators and genuine effort to produce your catalogs on time and within a reasonable budget? Absolutely. If you're willing to adequately invest in the tools to produce your catalogs — of which Adobe Creative Cloud software is but a small part — this can absolutely be done.

Hola Randy! Ante todo, muchas gracias por tu respuesta!

 

Pero el tema que me interesa es saber el COMO puedo resolver la implementacion de este catalogo a partir de un archicofradía excel utilizando Indesign, modulando y plantando todo el material en una grilla, teniendo aproximadamente 9 productos por pagina para poder de esta manera, automatizar tanto la puesta de diseño como el flujo de trabajo.

Podrías compartirme alguna modalidad de inicoo a fin para que testee si es posible la automatizacion de este catalogo.

Nah, it's not that simple.

 

I do that kind of work and it takes time, effort and money to make what you want to happen, well, happen. I don't know if absolutely nobody will kick with a template for your needs, to your specifications, to do this. But I won't. This takes a lot of work and fine tuning to get right. I do this for a living. And I'm not about to push that over for nothing.

 

Suffice to say that InDesign can do this, if you're willing to make the investment in time, money and effort to make that happen. It's within the program's capabilities if you have the training and techniques, as well as the time and effort, to effectively use those capabilities. If you're not going to hire someone with the skills, you're going to have to apply the effort to learn how to do this yourself. If you want somebody to reach back and somehow magically hand this over on a silver platter, I'm not your guy.
