Dock the pages panel

Hi! How do I get the Pages etc panel to dock to the top right? I am using twin monitors and I often have to move Indesign from one screen across to the other. It's really annoying when this panel stays behind.

For the record, I know how to dock the toolbar and I know how to make the panels group together - you drag the forehead of the panel until a blue line shows up. But for THIS panel group, no blue line is forthcoming no matter what I do. I must be missing something ... surely.

The key to docking is your cursor needs to touch the edge for the blue line to appear.

How to dock all menus commands horizontally?

The menus? Or the panels?

Menus run along the top of your screen starting with the File menu and ending with the Help menu. (InDesign menu to Help menu on a Mac.) They are always displayed horizontally and that can't change.

Panels can only be docked on the right or left of your screen. The exception to that rule is the Control panel, which can only be docked at the top or the bottom.

And if you continue to struggle, just choose Window > Workspace > Reset Advanced to restore the docked advanced workspace and then add the additional panels you need using your screenshot as a roadmap. Once you rebuild it, take a minute to save the workspace with Window > Workspace > New Workspace and give it a logical name.

Once saved, if you even inadvertently undock it again, you can just reset your custom workspace and it will return to the way it looked when you saved it.
