Question

Document Assembly transform types in Italic

Hi Everyone,

I'm experiencing a quite annoying situation when doing a document assembly.

After reponening the Indesign file, all the typfaces used switched to the italic version (it keeps the weight)

When changing them to non italic, it remains in italic and there is nothing to fix the issue.

The PDF export when did the document assembly have the right typfaces used.

Thank you for your help

Hi @PierreBerthy

What fonts do you use? Are they activated from Adobe fonts? Installed locally on your computer?

Hi @PierreBerthy ,

if you want to export two or more documents to one PDF, load the documents to an InDesign book file and export from the to PDF with the book's export menu.

All that said, in case you assemble documents by loading pages from other documents to one document.

What exactly do you mean with document assembly? Are you copying and pasting elements from different documents into one document? Are you working with paragraph and/or character styles? Please also indicate which version of InDesign you are using and on what operating system you are on. Can you also post a screenshot of your page and the Character Panel as well as Paragraph Panel? Thanks.
