Document on new tab not displayed

- indesign 15.01 on OSX 14.6 (Mojave)

Differents documents Indesign are opened and displayed as tabs in the same window (only the front one is shown then). When "extracting" one of the hidden tabs by dragging-sliding it outside the window to make it independent it is no longer displayed.

It's opened but not desplayed.

It sounds like you are undocking it as you move it. Does Window > Arrange > Consolidate All Windows take care of it? If not, please share a screen shot.
