Document Window Disappears When Focus On Another App

This happens constantly and it appears to be a very long, outstanding bug on the Mac.

I have a document open.
I switch to another application, like a browser or Word so that I can compare copy between the two.

While I'm in the other application, InDesign will randomly just disappear the document window. The toolbar is still there. The document itself that I'm comparing with the copy in another application just disappears.

Switching back to InDesign will bring the document back up.

Things that might affect the conditions for this bug to appear:

Using 2 monitors

I do not have the Home Screen turned on.
