Hello,

To the point question: Does InDesign 2014 successfully run on Mac Sierra and/or High Sierra?

Backstory: I have an ongoing project that utilizes Adobe DPS features (Folio Builder) only available in InDesign 2014. My project is basically a sales tool that the client uses on tablets for face-to-face sales meetings. I understand that Adobe has discontinued DPS in current versions of InDesign and I doubt the client of mine is interested in spending upwards of $50K per year for their AEM Mobile product. I'm at the point where I need to upgrade from El Capitan, but before doing so I want to know if InDesign 2014 will successfully run on Mac Sierra and/or High Sierra. If so, that will allow me time to research alternatives to the Adobe DPS features of inDesign 2014.

Thank you,

Roy

You’ll be taking a very big risk if CC2014 is that important to you.

As far as alternatives, I’ve been using in5 quite a bit lately. You might want to give that a try.

    Hi Roy,

As Bob said it will be a risk. Best suited MAC OS for CC2014 are Mac OS X v10.7, v10.8, v10.9, or v10.10.

Please refer: InDesign system requirements | CC 2018 and earlier
