Doing mathematics equation without InMath (or MathMagic, MathType, etc.)

I used InMath in the past since its first versions, but in translating a sample of a book this year I needed to typeset some equations...

I discovered that I can do that pretty good in InDesign without InMath, MathType or Mathmagic...

I use STIX fonts
