Drag and drop with selector tool in InDesign ot working suddenly

Hey All

Until yesterday, this function was working ok - but today, I cannot drag and drop anything with the selector tool in either ID24 or ID25.  I have rebooted, upgraded, and downgraded docs to the new and old versions of ID, but nothing seems to be working.

I can move items by changing the X and Y locations, bumping with the arrow keys, but not dragging with the selector tool. Is anyone else having these issues, or is it just me? It's driving me crazy and taking twice as long to complete tasks. HELP!

Hello Maggie23638503kbah,

Thank you for the update. Since uninstalling the Windows update is not an option, could you try adjusting the display settings to see if it helps:

1. Set scaling to 100%:

 - Go to Display settings (Right-click on the desktop > Display settings).

 - Under Scale, set the scaling to 100% and apply the changes.

2. Adjust resolution: Try lowering the resolution slightly to see if it improves performance with InDesign.

3. Restart your system and test InDesign again to check if the issue persists.

Let us know the results!
