Drop Cap Larger than Font size originally applied

Hello Fellow Designers,

I am trying to figure out how to apply a drop cap without the drop cap becoming extremely big. I am unsure as to why this is happening. I have attached a screenshot below as well as the file.

I noticed that when I try to change the " T " in paragraph Styles and then drop cap settings to be two lines down, the drop cap itself starts to change in size yet still shows as 300pt. It is obviously not the same as the 300pt below. Do I have some settings not on or what? Please help!!!

You applied a smaller size to the main text of the paragrph. You did overwrite the size property of the pragraph.

Adjust the paragraph text style correctly and use for the drop character create a correct character style. Use that.

Hi @Artsybeet , as Willy suggests, set all the text at 160pt:
