Hi, Can anyone advise please??

I am setting up a hyperlink to go to an e-mail address - however it keeps taking me to a historic web page. I have tried everything bar pulling my hair out!!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Emma

I've had something like this happen before (with both websites and email addresses). Just to see if it fixes the problem, try unchecking "Shared Hyperlink Destination." (see Bill's screenshot above in 1).

Do your hyperlinks panel look like the examples below? Is Hyperlinks checked in your Export Adobe PDF dialog window?

The information in the URL field of the Hyperlinks panel will automatically drop in there when you insert the email address in the "Address:" field of the Edit Hyperlinks window.

Hi Bill, Thank you for your response - yes that is what the panel looks like. It's almost like a previous link has been embedded somewhere as it takes me back to a historic web page from the pdf.

Hey, I had something like that before. This was because I saved the PDF with the same name... Maybe you can try saving it with a new name and try it again?
