how do i get each paragraph to be split into 2?

Hi @hendy_5450,

 

Thanks for reaching out. Could you please clarify what you mean by 'split each paragraph into 2'? Are you looking to divide each paragraph into two columns or to separate them into two individual text frames?

If you'd like the text to flow into two columns, select your text frame and go to Object > Text Frame Options, then set the number of columns to 2.

Thank you for your reply. I would like each paragraph to be split into 2, and then the next paragraph again split into 2, when I create 2 columns, it just goes to the next side

Try this:

 

Place your text.

  • Highlight the first paragraph

  • If not already showing, select the Paragraph option button on the Control Panel
  • Go to the Span/Split Column options box, and select Split 2, as shown at right

 

Lather/Rinse/Repeat on a paragraph-by-paragraph basis until completed.
