Effects & color pallets percentage slider not working

When I try and use the percentage slider on the pallets, the pallet disapears. I also can't use the dropdown menu on Effects pallets, doesn't work.

    Please share the version of InDesign and the details of your operating system. Have you tried resetting the preference and see if that helps?

    Mac OS Ventura 13.4

    InDesign 18.3

     

    I have not reset the prefs, how do I do that?
