Question

Either the file does not exist, you do not have permission, or the file may be in use by another app

"When I drag the file from the CC library, this warning sign jumps out abruptly. I have tried several methods to solve this error. However, none of these methods seem to be working. What can I do?"

I tried:

  1. Reinstalling the InDesign program
  2. Restarting the Creative Cloud using Ctrl+Alt+R
  3. Restarting the PC

I am using:

  • InDesign Version 19.2
  • Windows 10 Pro version 22H2

Is this only happening with one file in CC Library or others of the same type?

Does it only happen with one InDesign file you're dragging it into or with a new InDesign file also?

Hi Steve,

1. It’s happening with my entire CC Library file. However, it seems to work fine in Photoshop and Illustrator.

2. It's not an isolated case. The same issue occurred with a new InDesign file.

Thanks,

Ching-Cheng
