elements in master page are not artifacts

All elements placed in the master page and tagged as artifacts, are not artifacts anymore, when making a tagged PDF. PAC shows an error.

    I have had problems with PAC error and the  dreaded "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." error also. AFter 2 days of  hair pulling and struggling I came across a  reference soewhere that said it is a bug in  teh latest ID - and sure enouhh when I  recreated the document in INDesign  17.5  it worked beautifully! - no more error!

    InDesign 2024 Version 9.0, which has been released yesterday, solved the problem too

      not so - Even teh latest update - Nov 2023 -  still did not fix it for me

      I wish someone with more knowledge about this  would chime in here!

      Is it possible that the artifacts reported in your document are off the master pages, on the pasteboard?

      Könnte natürlich ein neuer Bug sein.

      Falls Du die Version 18.5.0 benutzt, versuch' es mal mit 18.4 oder 18.3.

      Hallo,

      ich habe es neben der 18.5 auch mit der offiziell downloadbaren Beta (18.9) probiert. Ebenfalls kein Erfolg. Dann habe ich die Datei komplett neu aufgebaut mit demselben Ergebnis.

       

      18.5 produziert PDFs, die PAC 2021 nicht prüfen kann: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Deshalb muss ich die Beta benutzen, um überhaupt getaggte PDFs zu prüfen.

      ist dieses Problem spezifisch für diese eine InDesign-Datei?

      Geschieht das auch mit neu angelegten InDesign-Dateien?

      Betriebssystem

      Maschinendetails

      Lokalisierung ( nach dem Screenshot nehme ich an, dass es sich um eine deutsche Version auf einem deutschen Betriebssystem handelt; könnte aber auch eine schweizer Version sein…)

       

      Auch hilfreich:
      Angehängt an eine Antwort hier im Forum, eine kleine InDesign-Datei, die das Problem aufweist.

      Dann könnten wir das Problem besser analysieren.
