Endnotes in a Book comprising 8 docs

I have a book with 130+ pages. In InDesign the book is created as a Book comprising 8 documents. There are 30+ endnotes. I'd like to put those endnotes in a 9th document last in the book, and not last in each document.

Is there a simple way to do that?

Thank you for your answer. But I just divided the document into a Book to avoid other issues with multiple object types in a document still under development. I need to accept to convert the endnotes into footnotes.

Endnotes generate within the document and add pages onto the end of that document. Endnotes can be set to a scope of Story or Document, but not Book. Try combining your separate documents into a single document to generate one set of endnotes.
