Epub incorrect formatting - spacing and font

See attached sample page. We have tried on PC and Mac. We have latest INDD. It works when we export to PDF. For epub we tried also to export to IDML and then to epub same error.This is fixed epub.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Legend

Don't use defined/embedded fonts.

And try viewing in standard, vanilla readers like Thorium. Many EPUB readers including Apple's have quirks and proprietary features that can cause problems with otherwise simple, compliant documents.

Thanks, we found the book appears correctly in ibooks but not in ADE for either PC or Mac.

Adobe Digital Editions is a... very substandard viewer for EPUB.

If you have it working in the Apple reader, it's probably good to go on most (more standard) EPUB viewers and platforms.

Thanks Willi. Adobe support said to replace our "Brandon Grotesque " font with another font but we have printed the book. We are a book publisher but also need an epub version. The book renders correctly in ibooks but not in ADE on PC or Mac. Thanks for any suggestions.
