Erfahrungen mit LangoAI Plug in

Hallo Leute,

wir sind am Überlegen, ob wir uns das Plugin LangoAI zulegen sollen.

Bisher war das Übersetzen von Katalogen eine Challange, da es zuerst zu einer Kollegin musste, die das Ganze mit ChatGPT übersetzte. Danach musste ich alles einpflegen ins Indesgin, danach ging es noch zu Nativspeaker. Und nochmachls einer Korrekturschleife.

Hat schon Jemand Erfahrung mit dem Tool?

habt ihr inzwischen LangoAI mit DeepL ausprobiert? Wie funktioniert es?

Die LangoAI -Variante mit GPT blieb bei mir bei einem 80-Seiten-Magazin hängen. Ein kürzeres Dokument hat sie übersetzt. Die Formate waren teils kaputt.

Mit tranl8ly blieben Formate super erhalten, das hat allerdings einzelne Headlines gar nicht übersetzt. Beides nicht optimal.

Lasst ihr den Native Speaker weiterhin über PDF-Kommentare korrigieren oder habt ihr dafür eine zeitsparendere Lösung gefunden?

Toll wäre eine Möglichkeit für den Native Speaker, webbasiert in den IDML-Dateien zu arbeiten!

Paper-Polyglot kann übersetzen und webbasierte Bearbeitung, nutzt aber leider nicht DeepL.
Für InCopy braucht der Native Speaker ein Abo, ein professionelles Übersetzungstool hat er nicht (ist eine Fachperson, kein hauptberuflicher Übersetzer).

Hi Herbert,

I keep reading that plugins using DeepL are pretty good at language translation. LangoAI has another version that works through DeepL. If you are going for volume and quick translation, this works well. The downside continues to be the perception of translation according to someone with fluency and native tongue in a given language. Are you still going to run the translated text past a native speaker?

Hello,
We have a glossary that we had previously integrated into ChatGPT. It worked very well there. If it is also used here in the plugin, that would be great.
Yes, it will be submitted to native speakers for a final check.
Since there were over 800 corrections in the last catalogue (448 pages) and my colleague first had to incorporate them into the PDF and I then had to copy them into the Indesin document, it was very time-consuming.
