Error code: 0, Error code: 4 when exporting PDF

Hello everyone! I am having a painful week because I have this very large file in InDesign containing 6 months work. Everytime I try to export it as a PDF, it fails and it gives me this message box:

Then everthing goes to hell, I can't save anything that was open or open new programs. and I get Error code: 0 or Error code: 4. I uninstall InDesign, shut down the computer, install it again and I am able to open my files again. The file that corrupted everything gets damaged forever and I lose that work. When I open an old version of that file and re-do the work and try to export again the whole cycle begins again.

I tried the solution of deleting in library/caches but I cannot even find the folder mentioned there.

I am using Mac Sierra the latest update (mistake?)

I would be so incredibly thankful to the kind soul that could help this lady in distress.
