Essentials Classic menu change?

Am I imagining things, or has the Essentials Classic top menu been redesigned for InDesign 2023? I could swear the character menu was formerly on the top left and the paragraph menu was to the right. Now they appear to have switched places.

I think I solved my problem. In the Customize Control Panel, I unchecked Paragraph, and that put my character menu back on the top left. Apparently I did not previously have Paragraph included in my top menu.
