Even 14.0.1.209 on Windows 10 still riddled with bugs

14.0.1.209 on Windows 10 is still riddled with performance bugs! One example I was struggling with before totally giving up on this release: Find/Change just slows down more and more as you go through a document clicking "Change/Find" to the extent that it takes up to a minute between changing and finding the next.

Another: changing the name of a style in Para or Char Styles Palette by clicking the name twice then typing the new name starts working for a few characters then suddenly the name goes back to the old name and you're typing directly in the document! So the only way to change the name now is to "Edit" the options.

And there are more that I can't even remember and now can't list because I'm now using the previous version.

It is just unacceptable that beta products are released as "stable versions" with no "not to be used in production environment" disclaimer! Shame on Adobe!

I see in this document the minimum RAM requirements have suddenly jumped from 2GB (8GB recommended) for CC2018 (InDesign system requirements | CC 2018 and earlier) to a minimum of 16GB! That was certainly not advertised in "What's New"! This is just getting worse. Thanks, I think I will just stick with the last stable version, 13.1, which ran perfectly well with my 12GB RAM. Thanks for the link - some really good InDesign resources.

Bear in mind that 16GB is my *opinion* based on my daily use and published as my information on my website. It is not a number published by Adobe. I often run it just fine in 8GB, but more is always better to me.
