Even pages shifted downwards

Question

Hi. When printing a PDF file generated with InDesign, the even pages have the lines slightly shifted downwards, although they look correctly aligned in both InDesign and the PDF. I have tried on several printers and it happens every time; and when sending the PDF to view it on my e-book reader (a Kindle one), it also happens. Has anyone else experienced this and know how to fix it? Could it be some export option of the PDF is to blame but is not shown in the file? Thanks.

- The version of Adobe InDesign you are using.
- The operating system (OS) and its version (e.g., Windows 11, macOS Ventura).
- Is this issue happening with a particular InDesign file or multiple files?

Additionally, if possible, could you share a screenshot from both the InDesign file and the exported PDF showing the alignment difference for our reference? This will help us better understand the issue and provide an accurate solution.
