How can I export full bleed images to reflowable epub? My exported images got a thick white border around on Kindle Previewer.

I have 6 full bleed PNG and 2 jpg images at 300ppi, same dimensions as the page size at 1600x2560. They all got a thick border after export to epub reflowable on Kindle Previewer. This is my first ebook, and I’m not familiar with Indesign. I couldn’t find much help on YouTube. Please help.

Do your images have a stroke on them in InDesign? Might not be visible, if your stroke is white and your page background is white. Do they have an object style applied? Does the object style have a stroke defined?

My usual go-to for solving epub challenges has unfortunately fallen off the web due to the passing of the author; I am accordingly pouring one out for James right now. But his section on “Image Management” helpfully saved by the Wayback Machine probably has your answer.
