Export settings help "The document's transparency blend space doesn't match"

Hi there,

i'm using an Adobe pitch deck template. I've only added one image and lowered its transparentcey. When I try to export to a PDF the document does not look good. It has weird white lines like scratches. I've tried different export settings based on others in this forum to no avail...

Can anyone help me to simply export a normal PDF?

Many thanks

Those lines are stitching lines which are created either when transparency is flattened upon PDF export or if flattened files like EPS or several PDF types are used upon import.

If you import PDF/X-4 or AI files for import you eliminate the import problem.
If you export as PDF/X-4 you eliminate the export problem.
If the printer reaquires PDF/X-1a or PDF/X-3 you cannot avoid it, but you can make them invisible if you change Acrobat’s Preferences > Page Display > Smoth images turned off.
But it is still important not to use files with flattened transparency upon import like EPS, PDF/X-1a or X-3 or any other PDF with flattened transparency.
