Export Tagging Not Working Propertly

Question

Hello. I'm trying to export a PDF from InDesign. All the markups are there (H1-H3). However, when I export the document, I have the following issues:

The space between lines is read as paragraphs

Each line is read as a paragraph

Headers not showing up

When I use Adobe to remediate the document (essentially going back in and adding everything I'd already marked up), it will not let me edit the headings (I can still combine lines to a paragraph).

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

@AMBIGGS-LBPD , From your images, it looks like you're trying to edit tags using the Content tool.

Try using the Accessibility Tags tool instead:

This is the correct tool to use when viewing and editing your tags tree.
