Exporting Reflowable EPUB

So I am creating a digital book in EPUB format and as I want it to fit any screen dynamically, I am using the reflowable option. Okay. However I would like to know how to format the content of the pages so that I can cause separation between items. For example, I have text on the first page, so I create a next blank page, and on the third, I put an image. When I export the file and preview it, simply the space I tried to create with the blank page is lost. The image on the third page that I tried to place with some separation merges with the text on the first page.

How do you best format all this?

If you have any video lessons, I appreciate

Producing Reflowable ePubs is not intuitive — as  they are HTML (and CSS) they don’t acknowledge more than one carriage return. You need to use Paragraph (and Character) Styles. Also no page numbers, all images anchored and no master pages.
