Exporting tables from InDesign

Hi,
I created a couple of tables in InDesign. Now I was asked if I could export them as PNG for the company. What is the best method to do this?

Hi @Mateomono ,

could you attach a sample InDesign document where you see the problem?

Just one page with one table would do.

Thanks,

  1. Export as PDF/X-4
  2. Open that in Photoship
  3. Export as you need it to any pixel formats

Direct export to pixel formats from InDesign directly causes worse quality as with the PDF/X-4 step between and from Photoshop.

Edit:
I found a solution, but I can't figure out how to export it without the background correctly. When I toggle on transparency in the export popup, it removes transparency from the table as well, not just the background.

Do you have those tables on a separate Layer?
