Question

Exporting to pdf from Indesign

Why am I getting a white box around my Indesign page when I export to pdf.  There is no bleed selected in Indesign and I haven't had this issue before. Not a beginner but totally stumped on this one. Have done everything I can think of to get rid of it and have now resorted to cropping the pdf page.

This is what is showing up. But the photo should be going to the edge of the page with no border.

I may have figured this out. When saved as an interactive pdf I don't get the border... but again, I have save other documents as print pdfs and never had this happen. Any thought?

What are your PDF settings, specifically?

Hi Mike: High Quality Print, no bleeds, no printer marks. Even though eventually this document will be available only on-line, I send print pdfs in case the client needs to print it out for markup. I know that whatever printer they use will leave a white border, but that doesn't matter at this stage.
