Extra Empty Line Appears After Placing Text in InDesign from Other Software

The title says it all.

When I copy a text from another document (pptx, word or any other), there is always an empty line left at the end of the text frame (see attached), which I have to delete.

Since I (might) have OCD, I always make my documents tidy and these last empty line makes me sooo enraged.

Any solutions? Nothing I could find on the web on this.
