Question

Eye Dropper Tool Functionality

Hey all, wondering how to better use the eye dropper tool in InDesign for color selection. In Illustrator/Photoshop you can just hover over the colors and make as many color selections as you want until you find the exact color you're looking for. However, it seems that in InDesign, you can only eye-drop one color before the tool freezes. I have to click off my object and then re-click it to activate the eye dropper to make a second selection. It adds so many clicks and is frustrating when trying to find exact colors. Am I missing something? Thanks!

Does it not Opt/Alt click to resample?

Did you double-click the eyedropper tool in the toolbox to see what it is sampling?

Why not make a paragraph style?
