Failed to Export the PDF file

I get an error "Failed to Export the PDF file" when exporting file created in Id 17.4. This happens on both of my two work stations running Mac OS Montery. I have tried to export to other formats, eps, jpg, osv and they all just flush before creating a file. Also tried with a blank page (new file) with just one word in it, and the same happens. I have tried all suggestions from Adobe with same result.

Thanks, after creating a new user account on my mac I can export. So this means that my user account is corrupt? But then again what to do next, because it is the same on both my mac`s

Perhaps its a right management thing, only.

Check your system settings with Security and Privacy and allow InDesign full disk access.

What did you try?

 

My guess is that InDesign has some issues with its cache and/or preferences.

Plus perhaps InDesign needs more rights with accessing all files and folders in the file system.

Check the security settings of your user of macOS.

 

Hm. Also add a new user to your machine and try again after logging in to your machine to the new user and after you did the following:


Uninstall InDesign. Log out from the Creative Cloud Desktop app. Restart your machine.

Log in again to the Creative Cloud Desktop app and install InDesign again.

Is that a new symptom? did it start to happen after an update or upgrade?

This is a new installation. I have been using ID on other equipment with no problem like this. After installing on two new machines (Mac OS) last week I have newer been able to export.
