Ever since updated CC Indesign to newest version, my file icons in file explorer (pc) are blank?  any idea how to fix this?

Thanks

It looks like this was reported as a bug here: https://indesign.uservoice.com/forums/601180-adobe-indesign-bugs/suggestions/38973094-thumb-nail-of-indesign-saved-files-not-appearing-a.

The InDesign team said to try:

Please let us know if the below-mentioned workaround works for you:

- Try restarting your Windows machine.
- Use the “Restart” option and NOT “Shutdown”.

—Adobe InDesign team

Does it? There is no follow-up.

Hi Dave:

I work on Macs so haven't seen this issue personally. Could it be a file association issue? Does double clicking the file in the Explorer window open the file in InDesign?

Hi Barb.  Yes if I double click the file opens.  It really is just an annoyance,  but all works well.

Thanks.

Hi Barb.  Thanks for your response.  Did a reinstall but it didn't work. It is just annoying, doesn't effect functionality.
