InDesign stores internal recovery data in a foilder in your user profile which you hopefully did not delete before just restarting InDesign after the crash. That's the ONLY way recovery data is usable -- it is not user-readable. If auto-recovery fails, most often it means the file is toast, but there are a few things you can try.

If on Windows, you can try the tool at INDDRecovery — a program for restoring corrupted InDesign documents . It works sometimes, but not always.

Markzware offers a PAID recovery service if the cost to rebuild is more than the likely cost of recovery. See https://markzware.com/products/file-recovery-service/ .The non-refundable take-in fee is $49 and the minimum additional charge if they can recover the file is $99 for files up to 100 mb. This is often successful, but again, not always.

You can send the file to Adobe at idfile@adobe.com and the team will look it over and see if it can be recovered for free, but there are again no guarantees and no promise of a fast turnaround. You will hear from them at some point...

You say you've tried everything, but did you try opening as a copy (which probably also will not work, but only takes seconds to try)?

Bottom line is you will probably need to rebuild from scratch or pay money if you are in a hurry. I usually at this point tell users that they should get in the habit of doing versioned backups of their files at the end any editing session, and never leave an unsaved file open in InDesign and walk away from the computer. I append a number to the file name to tell me which version it is. Backups won't recover the current file, but they will  limit the amount of work you lose to just one session if there's a disaster. They also make it easy to go back and branch a project into a new direction when a client says "what if we did this instead..."
