File is "Damaged and cannot be recovered (Error Code: 5)"
My MacBook Pro crashed 2 weeks ago. It has been repaired but 3 very important InDesign files now will not open. When I click on the files it comes up with the message that the file is "Damaged and cannot be recovered (Error Code: 5)". These files were all open and in use when my MacBook crashed. However the InDesign app had been crashing for a couple of days prior to this. The files are all quite big and I really need to retrieve them as they contain work for a deadline in a few weeks. Has anyone encountered this problem, and if so how/can it be solved?
