File made in InDesign2023, then edited in '24 but when reopened in '23, "bold" shows as italic only!

Even uninstall, reinstall 2023 and reopen file after editing in 2024 (on a different computer) gives me italics only! all the options are still listed, but even with "bold" selected it does not ever appear as bold -- it is always italicized. It saves italicized in pdf, too.

InDesign 2024 has not been released yet. If you're using prerelease software, post in the prerelease forum.
