Files won't open

When trying to reopen an InDesign document...I get the following message

Missing required parameter 'from' for method 'open'

Any help?

Here is an article that was posted by InDesign Secrets for the same issue with Snow Leopard. This might help because the issue might be with the name of the file.

By the way, which version of InDesign and operating system do you have?

Sierra 10.12.5....and the current update of Indesign CC.

Some users have reported problems with InDesign CC2018 (13.01) and have reverted to CC2017.

One document or all documents?

If it's only one, try opening it as a copy. If that doesn't work, I hope you have a back up.

Not all docs....but a few.

Forgive my ignorance....but:

Open as a copy?
