FINALLY FIX FitContentToFrame and FitFrameToContent

Hello Dev,

any idea why this could pass from CS5.5 to CC2017 without overhaul?

If its intended, please explain the logic behind that design.

• If the TextFrame gets Fit to its content, it matters, where the content is. Consider alignment.

• If frame should fit the content within the frame, why does the content gets cropped?
As you see on the sixth Guybrush-image, the frame is fit to the content. But …

• either the rotation must be applied to the frame or

• the frame should never crop the content

Adobe, im guessing here, but did you completely forget to take rotation into consideration when it comes to FC2F?

    Hi Jan,

I would have "liked" your post.
I would have "helpful"ed your post.

If only the forum software (Jive) would allow that.

    Regards,
    Uwe

Yes, JIVE is odd at least, flagging my posts 4 of 5 times with 'waiting for moderation'.

But what I find more fishy and embarressing, is that no Adobe Staff or someone responsible is commenting this post(s). 'Hey, this is lame/wrong/odd!' They know, that they have a monopol, and that the software sells like hell – so sey sit and wait. But I consider this feature as 'broken'.
