Hey Gang,

I wish Find/Change included a setting to search through metadata fields in Document Info like Title, Description, Keywords, and Copyright Notice fields.

Just wanted to say that.

Hi Willi,

Your suggestion about Bridge is a good suggestion.

My typical work scenario frequently has me making minor adjustments to documents that get refreshed annually. Wherever the document refers to the current year needs to change throughout the text, and also in the metadata that describes that document. All in one Find/Change, it would be nice to change the year and have that also search into the Description metadata for the year, as well.

That is why I was wishing out loud for that convenience.

I search,findand edit meta data in Adobe Bridge. I can edit the meta of several files at once, like the INDD, PDF and IDML or a bunch of selected files at. once.

Additional I will add, if I want to edit meta data in JPGs and open the file in Photoshop and resave it I get always a decrease of quality due to the compression. If I change metadata in Brisge, the quality does not change.
