Find/Change option not working

Hi
I lost my Find/Change shortcut and option in indesign.
I can not Find and Change text very annoying.

Anybody knows what is going on?

Hi BAS,

You might experiment with a reset of InDesign. There are up to 4 ways to approach a reset, starting with the reset button in Preferences > General followed by a restart of InDesign. There are also other deeper ways to reset. Read about it in this compendium of troubleshooting.

During the 2025 version, I had a similar trouble with it constantly resetting to the Essentials workspace.

I reset it 3 times, where one of the resets was the cache-delete technique that I call "Reset Method 3".

the reset in the General worked.
I still have workspace issues, always starts on "Essentials".
