Hi,

I'm a newbie to using Data Merge I now need to replace any instance of '$$' with a line break.
I thought it might be the attached, but I'm clearly missing something

The "Dollar sign" is a special character in Grep. Mostly it is better to use another character for Find and Replace in your text.

Untested, but for now:

Try to use in the Grep Find field [$]{2}

It may or may not work depending on your operating system.

… or what @Anna Lander said one minute before --> use Text Find and Replace (and not Grep)

you even don't need to use GREP search. It's enough to use the Text option and choose Forced Line Break in the Change To field
