Hi all,

I am new to InDesign (had it obne day)!  I will be asking a few questions, they will be in separate posts.

I am writing my autobiography and have progresed to InDesign from Word due to Word's inability to handle photographs correctly.

I have learnt a lot from various online sopurces, however one thing is bugging me ATM.

If I select "Fit Spread in Window", what is on screen fits OK. But then if I selcect page down on my keyboard, it no longer fits to spread. I am sure it is just a setting, but I can't find it.

Help please.

You might find it easier the write your text in Word, noting where the pics are to be inserted and when you've finished writing and and have finalised the text, bring it into InDesign and add the pics there.

Thanks, that is exactly what I am doing. The text is 99% complete, so i am just making some final edits in InDesign.

Regards,

Steve

Will this be a digital or print version and, if it's a print version, will you be printing it on your desk-top printer or sending it out to a commercial printer?
