Font sorting

If I use a font in ID 2021, the next time I open the font menu, it will be displayed at the top of the last fonts used.
But I would like to have the old sorting again, so that e.g. the MINION is displayed again at M when the font menu is called up and not in the "Favorites" How do I set that?

Hi Holger,

you said: "How does it work?"

Can I assume that you are using a German InDesign 2021?

See this screenshot where I changed the number from 10 ( that's the default value ) to 0 :

In my case with InDesign 2020 it took also a restart of InDesign.

Hi Frans,

thought as well and tested it. But in my case it did not work as expected. At least not with my German InDesign 2020 15.1.3.302 on Windows 10.

Would a restart of InDesign be required to make it work?

Ah. Can answer this myself: Yes, after a restart of InDesign 2020, it worked as expected.

Thanks,
Uwe Laubender
