Question

FontAgent Pro 10.2.5 and InDesign 20.5

Just an FYI:
FontAgent Pro 10.2.5 isn't playing nice with InDesign 20.5.
MacBook Pro (Intel) running Ventura 13.7.6
After I updated to this version of FontAgent Pro, InDesign crashed when I tried to open a file—any file—on my local drive.
I did some troubleshooting and discovered that removing the FontAgent.InDesignPlugin from the InDesign plug-ins folder solves the problem.
This plug-in enables auto-activation of fonts, which I never use anyway.

Hi @tonks_the_auror,

I checked with the product team, and they've requested if you could please share the installer package for the FontAgent plugin so we can review it further.

Also, when InDesign crashes, please submit the crash report and share the email address used in the submission via DM so we can locate the logs and investigate. You can follow the steps outlined here: Submit crash reports to Adobe.

Once we have those details, I'll get this investigated and keep you updated.

Thanks again for your time and for helping us look into this.

Abhishek

Hi,

When I was troubleshooting, I submitted several crash reports. I just sent the email address to you via DM.

I can't share the installer package because it's 137.2 MB. Can you get it from the developer?

Hi @tonks_the_auror,

Thanks for confirming and for sharing your email. I was able to locate the crash reports successfully. Could you please zip the installer package and upload it to any public cloud service like Google Drive, Dropbox, or WeTransfer, then share a downloadable link here? That would help us share it with the product team for further review.

Appreciate your time and collaboration on this.

Looking forward to your update.

Abhishek
