hello! Has anyone had problems with fonts when publishing a book by chance?

    There is a lot of context missing from this question. What fonts? What OS? What format are the fots? How are the fonts installed? What problem are you having?

     

    This is like asking “Has anyone had a problem with their transmission?” Well, yes. But how does that help move you towards a solution?

      I want to publish a book on Amazon; I can't upload the PDF file; I wrote to Amazon and they told me that the system does NOT allow the file because the fonts that I am using "lack commercial permissions to print". Literal, the font I use is Arial

      If you are uploading for a print book under KDP, fonts should not matter, as they are (usually) embedded/encrypted into the PDF and authorized for that document.

       

      If you're trying to go PDF to EPUB... yes, you may have font issues.

       

      A clear description of your whole workflow and project will help here. What platform, what OS, what version of ID? And exactly what are you trying to accomplish (with KDP), and through what path?
