Fonts changing when uploaded to KDP for Kindle Digital

I was trying to set up a kindle digital and was exporting from indesign to epub. All of my fonts are changing. If I look at the file with Calibre - it's perfect. But if I view with Kindle preview, all the fonts have changed. Have I messed up a setting?

Generally speaking, Kindle doesn't like font encryption and that's the likely culprit. If you are comfortable editing the EPUB, then delte the encryption.xml file in the META-INF folder, and replace the fonts in the Fonts folder with the original fonts. InDesign automatically creates subsetted fonts on EPUB export, which is why they need to be replaced. This can be tricky if you are using cloud fonts, obviously, but it you have them locally it should be straightforward enough.
