Fonts disappear in InDesign CS6 in toolbar left upper corner; its just blanc

When I’m using my font bar in the left upper corner, sometimes the fonts will disappear and there's just a blanc frame.
So there’s a blank part, but I still can select them.

Also in my design it doesn’t show the text sometimes when I’m typing. But when I zoom in or out the text will show again.

Its InDesign CS6 operating on macOS High Sierra version 10.13.6.

Its not possible to go higher, because than my CS is not compatable anymore.

I'm working on a Macbook Pro (2013), but I also have an iMac 27 inch from 2011 and here this problem doesn't occure.

Higher is not the issue...you need to go back to 10.10 which is the last Mac OS for which CS6 had support.

What's the exact version of your InDesign?

To see that hold the cmd key or Ctrl key and go to About InDesign.
