Fonts list preview images missing half

Question

Hi all,

I've got a weird glitch in my InDesign fonts list - see screenshot attached.

It is a really old version of the programme to be fair (2015, don't laugh) but it works well in general - is there a way to fix this without an update? It's a new issue, only been happening last couple of weeks.

Any advice gratefully recieved!

Restore all preferences and default settingsWindows: Start InDesign, and then press Shift+Ctrl+Alt. Click Yes when asked if you want to delete preference files.macOS: While pressing Shift+Option+Command+Control, start InDesign. Click Yes when asked if you want to delete preference files.
