Foonote: Extending divider (separator) fully for cont. footnotes

Hi everyone.

InDesign's default is to leave a "cut-off" separator (divider line) above footnotes that are a continuation of a footnote that began earlier.

I want to change that and keep the lines fully extended on all pages, regardless of whether the footnote is new or a cont. of one.

I'm not finding any such option - or any way to customize the divider altogether - in the Footnote Options dialogue box.

Can anyone guide me on how to fix this?

TIA!

In the footnotes layout settings is one to switch to continuous footnotes. There you can make your own settings.

Thank you. But where? I found "continued footnotes" in the Rule Above section but again, no settings...
