Footnotes - continuity from tables to text?

I would like to continue the ordering of footnotes from text content to table content, however the ordering restarts at 1 each time I insert a footnote to a table. Is there a way to create continuous ordering of footnotes, between tables and text? Many thanks, Alan.

it seems your table is in its own frame.

you should anchor the table in the text story instead

I thought was added in InDesign CC 14.0?

What version of InDesign are you on?

I'm on 14.0.1. Maybe it is, but I cant find out how?
