Forced line break using grep style

Hello,

We are using In-design for automation (XML Tagging) but sometime we are unable to do a force line break. Can anyone help us to know if any Content with some count needs to have a forced line break, Is it possible to use grep style or any other alternative in in-design?

Thanks in advance

I agree with Peter (great to see you again on the forums BTW) but there is a technique that "cheats" a bit that may be of assistance. Have a look at this video from Daniel Solis' youtube channel "Card at work": Card at Work: 11 - Inserting and Keeping Line Breaks in InDesign DataMerge - YouTube

GREP Styles cannot create new characters (forced line breaks are a character) where they don't already exist, only change the formatting of existing characters.

If this is possible to automate I suspect it will require a script.

If the answer wasn't in my post, perhaps it might be on my blog at colecandoo!
